this being my first subaru,i dont know the answer to this question,maybe you can help,if i "overboost"a fuel cut off thing comes on for a split second,and near puts you through the window,i have been asking about and most people say its just learning to drive it without doing this.i have asked should i remove it as i have heard you can get a so called FUEL DEFENDER,but not to, as the risk of blowing up the engine or doing big damage is much greater,and i dont want that:nono: :nono: :nono:

I had a hks fuel cut deffencer kicking about for ages but I heard too many horror stories about removing the factory fuel cutout ( safety device ) so I flogged it on fleabay

not a good idea removing the fuel cut, u really need to sort out the overboosting which is causing the fuel cut to activate.:thumb:

well as far as i know there should be a problem fitting a fuel cut defender as long as someone s good with cars, have a mate with a fast starlet that had one and it was his pistons ended up being the problem :lol1:

or maybe a fuel pressure regulator is needed :wonder:
