This is my first post guys so be gentle with me! I'm a scooby noob having purchased my first impreza in August last year. Apart from it having a knackered alternator and the radiator giving up the ghost on Christmas Day I have been happy with him. He's a Jap import 1996 silver STi wagon. Anyway my question is, when I purchased the car there was a huge gap where I assume a center console once existed along with I assume a cigarette adapter. I have fitted my own radio but really need a cigarette adapter for my phone and mp3 player. I have had a look on ebay but couldn't find anything suitable and was wondering if anyone know where I could get one which would fit in with the car rather than looking like a crappy bodge job.

Cheers,

GreekTony

Try Maplin, sure they do them. Check their website.

Try Vehicle Wiring Products (http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/switches/12vacc.php#cig). Good company to deal with, I use them a lot.

But if you want it to look standard then surely the best bet is to buy a second hand centre console, complete with the ciggy lighter, from a breaker. There are a number of specialist subaru breakers, grade A (I think) is one that's mentioned a lot on here but I don't know where they are or any other details.

I was more after one that would fit in one of the gaps where the center console used to be. I hadnt thought of the obvious about trying to find one from a breaker! Cheers for the suggestions guys, on a side note what main and dipped bulbs would people recommend as mine are ridiculously dim
