Looie 07 January 2008, 22:57 Nothing to do with the way that customers were treated then............ :brickwall aqua 07 January 2008, 23:17 certainly didn't help... B0DSKI 08 January 2008, 10:52 Ohhhhhhhhh what a pity  Never touched them with a barge pole after the way they failed to sort my warranty issues out Distinguished Gentleman 08 January 2008, 11:46 Nothing to do with the way that customers were treated then............ :brickwall Probably more to do with the freehold value of their site in Chelmsfords residential area. Any one want to start a sweepstake on how many "Executive" apartments will end up on that site? DG JohnD 08 January 2008, 13:20 What with Wilsons not selling Subarus any more, there's a distinct lack of dealers in the Essex area now? Fortunately there are specialists for servicing and spares. JohnD AllanP 08 January 2008, 13:59 Lets hope somebody takes in on, can't be any worse than days. bl03job 08 January 2008, 16:57 no chance of new dealer unless they have money to throw away sales 23% down in 2007 phil 08 January 2008, 16:59 They are building on the Site :( davedipster 09 January 2008, 20:12 I suppose It didn't help that my last Two services where done by Xtreme, but xtreme are closer to dipster towers in Braintree. Dipster Aquanaut 10 January 2008, 14:27 Bye bye Days Wilsons aren't great Harlow was only open for two week So its off to Welshs or Haddocks which are miles away Any thoughts on these two for the rest of my warrenty??? Looie 10 January 2008, 17:07 Bye bye Days Wilsons aren't great Harlow was only open for two week So its off to Welshs or Haddocks which are miles away Any thoughts on these two for the rest of my warrenty??? Depending on where you live - Welsh's are "proper" Subaru Dealers - the GM is the SIDC Cambridge RO so you shouldn't have a problem with them. Haddocks- never used them myself, but many have and are happy with their service, so down to you! B0DSKI 10 January 2008, 18:55 Never had a Problem with Haddocks apart from services charges seemed to be quite high, and they ALWAYS said i needed new Pads whenever it went in for service. Warranty wise they never let me down though. If your out of warranty why not use Mocom or Extreme AllanP 10 January 2008, 19:34 Used Haddocks four times now, haven't let me down yet. JohnD 10 January 2008, 20:36 If your out of warranty why not use Mocom or Extreme Why not use them IN warranty? They are both VAT registered and if they use genuine Subaru parts and procedures, your warranty is intact! JohnD Mocom Racing 11 January 2008, 09:49 Why not use them IN warranty? They are both VAT registered and if they use genuine Subaru parts and procedures, your warranty is intact! JohnD John you took the words right out of my mouth! I can assure you that you will get a much better service from either ourselves, or Xtreme, than you will at any dealer who is interested in nothing other than taking your money. richardg 11 January 2008, 10:33 developers have been after the days site for years. i expect the closure is more to do with the redevelopment of the site than the economic climate when it comes to car sales, although obviously that isn't as bouyant as it used to be. ...similar situation to bolingbrokes really, although days' site is on the market, whereas the B&B site sale was agreed off market :Suspiciou |
