Until I can afford my Scooby, I'm running my car into the ground. It's a J reg Rover 216Gsi, worth about £500 and the cheapest quote I can get is £420. 29 y/o, full no claims, 2 windscreen claims and an sp30 in 97. Wife on provisional cos she's Turkish (has a full international licence), and I find it hard to believe that my insurance should be this hard.. This (cheapest quote) was from Quoteline direct.

Has anyone else got any suggestions I could try? pref. online cos I hate phones...

well i was looking at an 89 f 205 gti 1.9 worth 900 quid, (second car to keep miles down) insurance quote was..... 780!!! TPFT!!! ouch!
