Default Dodo Juice question

Anyone tried their range as ive been seeing a lot of people talking about it. Also what is the real difference between all of the different types apart from the catchy names such as something forrest bladibla.

Astonishingly good wax ! go for banana armour hard wax, it is my favourite of all of them.

If you want more answers go to Detailing World and look in the wax section, there is loads of Dodo information.

View my scooby for sheeting vids, it beads lovely too.

Yeh ive been reading up on it and it seems as though i may end up paying £80 for the double wax as it gives best of both worlds.

According the actual guys from Dodo, the soft waxs give a most wet look but not as durable as the hard wax. With the Double wax you get both and after reading some posts on detailing world. There was a meet where they tried the double wax and compared it to the Vintage so £7k vs £80 and apparently everyone except one person said that the Dodo spanked the Vintage. The one person that had a differing opionion still however believed the Dodo was better but not as convinsingly as the rest put it.

I guess we'll just have to dry some. Cant really try vintage as i dont have such deep pockets

I bought this Combo, the wax is supposed to be outstanding as is the pre-wax cleaner, it's a great deal for what you get.

The Lime Prime pre-wax cleaner is totally amazing. I have used the Zymol HDC and Swissvax CF and the Lime Prime has taken the best of both, combined them and made it better too somehow?! By hand or machine its great to use, so much so its replaced the other 2 in my bag.

I wouldnt use dodo for white cars. Zaino zfx charged z2-pro gives better results. Most of the overall look is down to prep, so if your prep is crap, you wont be getting the best out of your lsp.

Dodo banana armour isnt as good as swissvax best of show, far from it. I was one of the detailers that recieved the pre production sample of banana armour and rainforest rub and i can honestly say that neither is as good as swissvax best of show. The BOS will keep looking better for longer.

Dont get me wrong, i really rate dodo waxes and dom and co are really sound, plus their marketing is very good.

Paddy the sample products I have to say bear no resemblance to the finished products. I too had the samples and was dubious but having bought the production versions I joined the detailer programme. Try it and you wont be disappointed.
The entry generic waxes like RR and BA are not aimed to compete with BOS waxes, but there are some coming that will RR and BA are easily as good as Saphir, Zuff and Onyx..easily and half the price.

Hi Tim and paddy... the Doublewax is quite special as this is the first of our 'second generation' products, and it should be a margin ahead of BoS. Only testing and customer feedback will tell, but so far the comparisons have been good - even with the royal standard ;-) There will be more 'uber waxes' coming out in '08, plus a few interesting additions to the range like Lime Prime Lite (no abrasives for use after machine-polishing) and our car shampoo.
All the best
Dom
