had a small accident, took my fender, one headlight and the front bumper. Nothing big, but. So im considering a facelift.

- foglight covers

Anyone had the hawkeye facelift conversion done to a blobeye?

Dont know for certain, but i would have thought a bonnet as well.

I reckon you'll need all the above and the bonnet. The different in the light shapes is too much to get away with using the old bonnet. I would be interested to see how this turns out though. It's an interesting project

Damn, our Impreza 07SW daily reminds me about i want a facelift on our 05STI. And with the STI got a broken fender, headlight and bumper, is a golden facelift opportunity... on the worst financial moment (building garage, xmas etc)

have asked my local subarudealer about prices today.

Translated prices from NOK to GBP

- L/R fenders, come cheap, ca 100GBP each
-1 front bumper, comes cheap only 100GBP!
-1 wrx/sti bonnet, says complete, is ok priced but comes without scoop, 300GBP
-1 sti scoop, costs as a complete bonnet.... 300GBP
-1 complete bonnet crossbar(where the bonnet hook attatches, probably different to the new lower bonnet design. cost 60GBP
- L/R headlamp sorroundings, come cheap 60 GBP
- L/R headlamps, and one lamp costs 700GBP, EACH, THATS INSANE!!!!
- some clips and stuff , hard to estimate
- STI foglight covers 50GBP
- respray paint and work by me 300GBP
- sell my current bonnet/headlight/fender/ -300GBP

Japanparts.com got cheaper 06/07 headlights.

The scoop should should also be able to purchase cheaper. Also got a APS FMIC, front oil cooler, so i could go for a bonnet without a scoop (less drag, more stealth look). Could be looking dull, but different. Its a waste with FMIC and scoop.

It wouldnt be a cheap option, but its possible.. the 03-05 fix option is much,much cheaper, one fender, headlight and , , but it would be a car makeover! 06-07 look EDM 2,0 STI.

I have a closer, open bonnet compare to our 07SW tomorrow.

That explained some more views! Need some more parts. This wouldnt be cheap. I must use some time and try to cut a deal with my the insurance company, and pa the additional by myself. Otherwise, it would be too expensive i think. The headlights and hood/scoop is the major costs.

A aftermarket hood with scoop would also be more cheap.

And i need space for the new bumper APS FMIC and additional oil cooler with is located in the front. Also have a koyorad larger water radiator installed, but it dosent make any trouble. The FMIC and engine oilcooler sits in font of this. Dont want any foglights, so the IC piping would be ok.

dropped the project, found it too expensive

and its "just" cosmetic thing, the lower drag coefficient (front/nose/scoop) dosent pay off that much. its a great car anyhow!
