fraser87uk 19 December 2007, 19:39 i tried A Plan and they told me to go south along with Keith Michael''s. Would speaking to gary mouson make any difference? Anyone got any other plans? Thanks guys, loosing hope now.
Bug Eyed Peas 19 December 2007, 19:42 You could always try speaking to him directly, Gary Moulson that is.
That is the only advice that I can give you i`m afraid. But someone who is in your age bracket may be able to help you. :thumb:

killerscoob 19 December 2007, 21:49 I pay 600 on mine, tell them the lowest and they will beat it,or you have to do is wait for them to call you for a quote
Performance Car Insurance from Swinton Car Insurance (http://www.swinton.co.uk/car/performance/)
fraser87uk 19 December 2007, 23:17 Ok, eCar Insurance site is balls and keeps screwing with me. Swinton wont touch me either. Any other ideas / people to contact?

ulusaba1 20 December 2007, 09:08 Hi
I phoned the general sales number at Keith Michaels last year only to be told the same thing. They where not bothered about insuring me as apparently I had no experience of driving high performance cars, and I am 30 with 7 years NCD.
This year when I phoned them I asked to speak to Gary. When I mentioned my experience from the year before he basically said this was a load of rubbish.
Can’t recommend Gary at Keith Michaels enough, good guy and quoted me very happy.
My advice would be ask to speak to him in person, you could be surprised.
Hope this helps.

I imagine you will be able to find someone to insure you as lucko has hinted at, but its going to cost you an arm and a leg.
Its not what you want to hear, but you should always check out insurance before you buy a car.
Do you have the option of getting your deposit back?
fraser87uk 20 December 2007, 14:18 i have no bother getting the deposit back. LUCKO has been very helpful and should have hopefully sorted me out with something. Top bloke. Thankfully my saving grace is the experience that i have had.

If you have a years experience on a performance car we have more companies who will quote, and should get a better rate.
Fortunately we also have a couple of companies who don't worry about experience, so we'd put you with them the first year and look at swapping to the other insurers at renewal :thumb:
(I had similar even doing my own insurance. First year on my Impreza was £1400, then after owning it a year was £700)
