My centre pod (cubby hole near the handbrake - MY00) has various marks on it after the previous owner used to throw (literally) the steering lock into the rear passenger footwell after use.

The marks don't cover with auto glym vinal care, but I was wondering if there are any better products that might be worth trying ?

Try some appropriately coloured shoe polish?

it may not cure it,the marks sound deep but megs plastic polish helped a few marks i have had on trim before.would'nt do any harm to give it a try
