I am looking for a turbo for 600hp+ on my AXIS stage five long block.
Until now I was convinced for the prooven GT3582R. However, latetly there is a lot of talking about the IHI RX6 turbo.

Comparing the two, which is the best for the application???

I thought the IHI RX6 was a 500bhp turbo at most. The GT3582 is proven at these levels is it not?

 

have no idea on the IHI but the GT35R should push more than 600bhp worth of air. also at any given boost presure it should be cooler than the IHI (if the above is true).
