Hi all

In an atempt accommodate members and to boost attendance at our monthly meets i would like to propose that during the cold and dark winter months that we have our meets on Sunday afternoons about 3 ish.

This is just a suggestion and i would appreciate your opinions.:wonder:

Sundays are a big day for the Toby doing sunday lunches, might want to run it by them first just to see if its ok;)

Agree with what kev has said above, I think this is why we choose a week day evening for the toby, the last sunday one we had we met up in myrther and then had a little run after.

i live in Barry and the Knap is usualy closed off and the gates locked at aprox. 4ish...stop all the chav's

If I remember correctly, the last time we went Sunday we were asked to move on as Sunday was there busy time and that was early in the morning.

I'd Probably look for a new venue if its going to be a Sunday.

Hi all

Just got back from dinner at the Toby and i noticed that the car park had room for more than 50 cars at 3.05. so i dont think that parking will be an issue. There is also the services opposite with a huge car park.

I do like the thought of a different Venue like Rob suggested though, especially a sea view:)

But like i said at the start of this thread its just a proposal ( nothing is set in stone ) and your suggestions are more than welcome.

ok, how about Barry waterfront...loads of spaces for cars, sea views, a few Bench's to sit down on, and its well lit up.

also morrisons,kfc and a few pubs around if people wanted to go inside and have a warm.

just another idea for you all ????

They did not want us there on a Sunday morning thats for sure:nono: they did ask us to move on but when we explained we were using it as a meeting point prior to a run they were fine.

You will never please all of the people all of the time i'm happy to go with the flow, different venues, times and days etc its all a suck it and see.
Peeps will always vote with there feet ( or cars in this case;) ) if its not for them.

i will go with the flow :wonder: but for the last couple of meets there are allways a good few names down to attend but on the night only a hand full turn out for what ever reason so i personaly think :idea: a change is as good as a rest :luxhello: :thumb:

A weekend is great for me, i havnt been able to make the last 5-6 meets if not more because of work.

A different venue would be cool too. It would be nice to have some sea views or mountains or something, and if we are in a nice spot, im sure a little run wouldnt go a miss for those who are interested.
