After "Hightee Gate" it got me wondering how much information a person could find out about you on the web and on your local forums etc.
We seem to be very comfortable divulging all sorts of personal details and preferences on bulletin boards, chat rooms and various other sites, so this lead me to an idea.
The "Hightee" inspired Christmas identity challenge
The challenge is for a volunteer (lol) to put their identity on the line and see how many people can find as much information as possible about them.
Any personal information is relevant, no friends are allowed to enter and the person that divulges the most information wins the challenge.
Anyone fancy being a guinea pig? Id offer but I want to be a searcher!

It's a great idea, but can I suggest a caveat?

As we're not after naming and shaming here, can we not publish actual details of the person, rather stating what details we have found and allowing the target to verify them by PM? Just for safety...

I would say 'do me' but I'm not even close to a challenge. From my blog you can get into Bebo and other forums I post on and so on and so forth. In about 5 minutes flat you'd know pretty much all you'd need to know about me.


....but then you could just read my 10,000+ scoobynet posts (yawn) and learn all that anyway as I've never been a particularly private person

 

I've got a MUCH better challenge

See if you can do a Hightee on Currys ...... much, much harder - but so much more satisying.
