Hi,
Thought I'd start a new thread about this.
Some of you may have read Pete's answers to my questions about AI Autosport.
I currently have an MY05 STI with PPP and have been toying with the idea of having it remapped.
But I need to choose a mapper that I believe will do the best possible job.
So, who has had a remap and who did it and what model year car was it.
What was the before and after power.
I reckon I can make a decision on who to pick based on that?
Thanks,
Shaun

Real can of worms opening here. Everyone works according to their own experience. My preferred mapper is Andy Forrest as he has done several Imprezas for me with excellent results (350bhp estimated ra 11.97 sec 1/4 mile@ straightliners) leaving similar and much higher powerd cars trembling.
Nothing wrong at all with AI /OMA/Pat Herborne all highly respected and proven mappers. If you listen to everyones opinion you'll be more confused than when you started. Best perhaps to keep it local to yourself and with someone you can get on with. 2p spent

So, not a great result then.
4 remaps and one of those is an aftermarket ECU. :Suspiciou

i asked this question about a month ago (probably on 2nd or 3rd page here) OMA and AI did well. If you can get OMA on the phone your a better man than me.

:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: I agree, OMA is the hardest person EVER to get a hold of but ive been going to him now for over three years and have been well please with the results of different cars he has tuned up for me (gsi astra, turbo cavalier and the rb5).
Try leaving a message explaining what you are looking done and he should ring you back. Have to admit though it does get a bit annoying when you have to keep ringing and ringing.
AI seem to be a good bet for a remap though too by the chat of ones on here:thumb:
