Usual balance of opinions here I see

As the rideheight at the front drops from 390mm to 365mm with the Prodrive springs, my basic grasp of mathematics says this is 25mm lower

In any case, the exact number is almost irrelevant, it's as low as we feel we can go without compromising handling and comfort as they were the two major development objectives for us.

Prodrive springs have been excellent on both MY03 WRX and MY06 STi.

Front drop is the most dramatic and looks 100% better, not to mention the vast improvement in handling.

Mike, sorry to trouble you- tried to pm you but your message box is full.

Would you be able to advise me of your recommended fast road / occassional track geometry settings for my MY06 Impreza STi?

I've just bought the correct prodrive spring kit from the main dealer but could do with some guidance.

Thanks in anticipation,
Simon

I went for Prodrive springs on my 05 STI and very happy I am too. Prodrive will have done massive research/testing into uprated springs specifically for the Impreza so I thought that was good enough for me .

Why ride height . Surely handling and on-the-road performance is more important.

Wolfie.

Ignore my earlier post- prodrive are so efficient that they give you the geometry settings in the box
