Up in Donnellys 2day still trying 2 sort some problems I have with them, when I overheard a customer having a heated discussion with Paul Donnelly. It sounded like the guy was not happy with them.

When I was leaving the guy in question was in the car park so I asked him what had happened, He left his 07 wrx in for donnellys to sell on his behalf, A couple of days later he decided that he no longer wanted to sell it so went to pick up his car. When he arrived his car was sitting with a different set of wheels on it, after enquiring where his wheels were he was told that all his tyres needed replaced and that his wheels would be back shortly. A short while later however the guy was told that his wheels where removed and placed on one of donnellys car and SOLD with the car. Obviously the guy is not impressed.

Too make matters worse Paul Donnelly said he would give him a good price for his car as they fecked up, He bought the car 4 months ago from donnellys for 16k. it only has 12k miles on it and he was offered 11k.

I would be in jail now for attempted murder if it was me!!!!

Hmmmm.......sounds like a straightforward theft of the wheels in question......Mr Donnelly has assumed ownership of the wheels, which were not his obviously, and has then sold them on and has profited from the sale......My advice would be to report the matter to the police and let them deal with it as theft...

Unreal, you couldn't make that up. Hope the bloke gets sorted, one way or another. Not the first thread i've read in my short time on scoobynet about poor service from certain subaru dealers. Thankfully we seem to have some good specialists, i was worried who was going to service mine when the time comes.
