steven woody 11 December 2007, 16:25 can I ask why you remove the map light bracket ? when you can see that the bracket for the roof vent has 2 holes with screws that fit the bracket that you have removed .you should NOT remove it acts as a support for the vent .

When I fitted mine, I left that bracket too.

I prefered to remove it. Those holes are not tapped, just nut/bolt holes. Every other install i have seen removed the bracket too.
Added weight anyway... ha ha ha so better to remove. :D
All joking aside my vent is incredibly strong anyway and has taken the abuse of 145mph for testing purposes and survived with no problems :thumb:

frayz 15 December 2007, 16:45 Vent works aout at about £250 once its llanded and all tax/duty has been paid.
That includes all the hardware and fixings required, also its worth noting that these vents come pre-painted from the Subaru factory in Japan. :thumb:
