Just coming to the end of a winter break in Munich, thought I would say hello:) Had an hours drive to the Alps on Fri its totaly stunning with all the snow down will post up some pic,s when I get back.
BTW hire car is a brand new Supercharged E class Merc and have spent some time hunting along the Autobahn:norty: its fun fun fun:cool:

Tried to get a cable car to the top of the highest mountain Zugspitze 3000m up weather was a white out at the top and we were advised against it:cuckoo:

Phil thats a stunning shot:cool: We were really looking forward to the cable car trip to the top but a storm had brewed up and it was a total white out at the top. The cable car operator advised that it would not be a nice experience in this weather so we took the advice but I will be going back again:thumb:

It's a stunning part of the world, loved every minute of it, just driving along the alpine roads through the villages was amazing:eek: We seem to struggle with an inch of the white stuff over here but for them its just part of everyday life through a large part of the year.

That castle looks so beautiful.
