brute force mate but just be careful it dont bust you in the teeth

A good method would be to tie a piece of wood or pipe to it and gently wobble it until it comes free
the wheel is on splines so it will take a bit of persuading

Put the nut back on a couple of threads to stop the wheel from hitting you up the bake. Brute force and ignorance after that

like scubby says leave the nut on the last few threads, the brute force! pull on it from different sides but dont persade it with a hammer r anything similar as I am nearly 100% it is a collapsable coloum.
