I've recently been driving a Vectra SRi with 19" wheels & 235/35 tyres and electronic damping control and it handles better than my 05 STi on big road sweeping bends - much more composed as it sits relatively flat and aborbs all the bumps. STi wins by a mile on the back roads as you'd expect as it's much more agile. So, how do I make my STi the better handling car on all fronts? I've got prodrive springs, 22mm rear arb on middle setting, front & rear strut braces, and 235/45 tyres on 17" wheels? Geometry has been checked several times and rear struts have been replaced under warranty. I'd love to try an STi with electronic damping control !!!

The AST route is probably best, I've also fitted a front ARB and the ALK from whiteline, this gives more front end grip. Soon to be AST's for me I think....
