Apprentice (will be qualified June '08) Maintenance Technician - mechanical / electrical / process control / welding/fabrication / pneumatics - (food production factory). All good skills for DIY modding

So like where I work, they call you an "engineer" but don't give you engineers pay eh?

What would you consider to be "well payed" (Gross P/A)... as I suppose it's relative to what you earn? i.e someone on £14k gross thinks £25k gross is well payed, but someone on £25k gross thinks £35k is well payed... IYSWIM

i dont earn a lot, but the outside of hours work helps pay the mortgage...hence why i find it so hard to run the scoob

Technicial Support Specialist (level 3) - a computer systems administrator / engineer. It's resonably "well" paid but not as much as my counterparts across the schucht, all of my money as spent on drink and prozzies and take aways so that is why I drive a 14 year old scooby.

Windyboy.

Factory teamleader, every time you drink from a coca cola bottle you will now think gojonnyjo

hahaha 23K before overtime for factory workers not bad, who works ot, not me, **** that, spend long enough in the place

quit smoking when I was 40 last year, bought my scooby for my midlife crisis, so the Mrs tells me. NOT,

As some know I am also do Rally Rescue, have done for about 10 years or more, do timekeeping also @ donegal rally, Thankfully not have had too many rally cars to cut up in anger, but yes 1 of them was a scooby, and because of that they put and extra bar in the roll cage and call it a jonny bar, prize for the person who can tell me which one

Thumbs up My Job....

I work as a customer service engineer for BT mainly doing cabling jointing, although also repairing, installing and keeping phone lines working!!

I also work in the telephone exchanges and repair/provide broadband adsl lines....and have the fortune of having a company van for during the week (a ropey transit )and a 'runaround' for the weeknights so the scoob doesnt get overworked
