What was the car parking crew doing on V1 (I think thats the one up by the crossing point)?

They shouldn't have allowed more cars to go up there when there was no spaces left. It caused a complete caos for people trying to move the cars to get out.

The car park attendants then came and watched the rally and forgot about there role. I know its valantry but why have kids who can't drive tell people where to park when they don't understand how to drive?

I had to do a 20 point turn to get out to make it to Cardiff making me damage something under the right hand side of my car. :nono:

think everyone must have been in Crychan then! I spent the day in halfway car park I (not dixies) and there were spaces everywhere!

i watched the first run through crychan the went to halfway for the night stage,getting out of crychan was a complete nightmare,there were cars coming up the hill against the flow of traffic,police land rover in front doing sweet fa.got to agree with steve ppp(i think i saw your car with speccy picture in window just up from the hair pin bend.) load of room at halfway no problems getting in or out.top weekend as usual.:)

Yeah i was parked just up from the hairpin for Halfway 1, then drove back down to the entrance in the gap between stages and up to the quarry area. Parking was empty up there too, had a burger and chips, then drove back to the hairpin area again and got the same parking space i'd used in the morning - couldn't have been any closer to the stage both times.

Did you watch from the hairpin itself or venture further round the track? I walked up the track about 5 mins - comes out to a 90 degree right at the end of a very long straight - two got their braking wrong in the morning and rolled off down the bank.

steve we walked down to the hairpin and watched from the raised mud bank,not a bad view but you didnt see the cars for very long,next time im going up to the quarry area.nobody went off on the hair pin but plenty of people went over on their arses on the mud which was almost as entertaining as the cars lol.:lol1:

Epynt had plenty of space too, only about 100m from the stage so couldn't argue with that. Thunder/lightning & hail was more of a factor in spectator comfort !
