Genuine VF34's from the UK cost around £800+
ok cool
, but are'nt vf34's rated at 350bhp and they'll only make the power if the rest of the engine has been tuned and is working correctly. i only say this as a mate got his from them and it works fine with the car at last RR plonking 341bhp, but if others on here have had problems with them then i dont suppose i have a point

just because a rolling road says 360 bhp, it doesn't necessarly mean the power is 360bhp (I'm not trying to diss your car btw) it all depends on the RR calibration.
anyway, bump for a top turbo
got a problem with Alan???
I have had my car sorted by Alan Jeffery - Engine Tuner and cannot fault the service or the professional attitude.
And dont even go down the route of just cause a rr says??? if the operator of the rr knows what he is doing, the result should be fairly accurate.

now now people lets not go down the road of the rolling road issues, its a known fact that these turbos are good for 350bhp and depending on your mods weather etc will make a differance on the rollers. its been tested on 3 different rollers around the same sort of time and it ranged from 356 to 368....

I wouldn't trust that muppet one bit, he couldn't even diagnose a fault on a Renault 5 Turbo I used to own, one phone call to a 5 Turbo specialist in London had it sorted - for free.

If I fell over your R5, I apologise.
The R5 specialist may well have known something I didn't, but then, life's just like that. I bet I know more about Small Block Chevrolets than he does!
My son and my staff take care of the Subaru work and they are very dedicated.
If Gordon Ramsey sells a bad prawn, that doesn't mean the whole restaurant is duff!
I'm glad to hear it Alan, my R5 had a new engine fitted & when it came on boost the timing was all over the place, you tried to diagnose it, but unfortunately you couldn't. I paid for your time & you also fixed a problem with the starter motor (a good job I have to say btw)
the problem tuned out to be the worm drive for distributor, which needed to be reset by putting no1 piston to TDC & setting the worm drive to 12 O'clock.
(I got the info from a phonecall to the '5 specialist)
I spoke to a lad yesterday actually who you did a 2.5 conversion on his Classic sti v4 & he was very chuffed - I guess one bad experience puts you off some places, I might give you a try in the future.
free BTTT for a good turbo!
