If you protect your no claims does it mean your insurance wont go up in the event of a claim?
I ask this because ive always protected my NCB since it got to 5 years, ive got a clean licence with no claims. My car is a wagon wrx with all the mods declared and i was paying 765 last year, i had a crash this year that was my fault and my insurance has jumped up £200.
I was under the impression that by protecting your no claims you could make 2 claims in 3 years without effecting your premium. The insurance man i was dealing with at the time said he never expected my insurance to go up due to it being protected, its getting towards the grand mark and i always said i would not pay that much as i just dont think a scooby is worth paying that much for.
