If you're in the US - they're $99 in Walmart at the moment.
Now - a CF version would be VERY useful!

If it wll fit on an SD card you could fit at least 4 of them on a CF card.
Could be useful.

Only seems to handle JPEG images though, for some odd reason.
Would be much better if they expanded this - when available in the UK and in CF format - to any image format for us RAW shooters....

Why not just use the bolt on wireless transmitter?
Not sure if Canon do 1 but Nikon do, and a rather nifty gps module too :D

But its a bit cheaper than the £600 odd for the Canon Wireless transmitter.
Looks good, and could be a big benefit when needing to work with and send files quickly, especially for my bag in news and sport. No more having to physically place the card in the laptop and copy to edit the files.
I can see why at the moment it may not support RAW file format, whats the point ? - if you are going to take the time to work with and edit RAW format files and do a lot of post processing, then saving the few minutes it takes to copy a 2GB card onto the computer using either a Firewire or USB2 reader isn't really going to make a lot of difference.

EDIT - Also to add, you wouldn't be uploading RAW files to FTP or HTTP servers but jpg versions

I thought it looked good. Biggest weakness is the need to configure the card for the wireless network you will use (in the supplied card reader) before putting it into your camera.
Would be nice to find a random WiFi hotspot (eg when on holiday) and be able to use the connection to upload your pictures to a FTP, HTTP server or Flickr without a PC. I'm not carting a laptop round on holiday to configure the card for specific hotspots.

Why not just stick it in a SD - CF adapter if you want a CF version?
