Wupppeee
Happy boy today, passed ma bike test after 24 years:Whatever_ yep wanted to do it when I was 16-17 and never got around to it...sound familiar? My mate Mickwrx was in exactly the same situation, had a bike years ago and never did his test... daft really as in 83 is a was simple:wonder: and a £20:rolleyes:

anyhow finally got my act together and completed was has been a very long wait... story for those interested, i think someone else was after doing it...
TBH I took a bit of a flyer really, and looking at all the web sites about direct access test i think i've done it in the shortest possible "and cheapest way:lol1: "
Did my CBT last monday, Theroy test tuesday, and Main test today.:D
Sweet:D :D :D
passed with two minor faults on a cold and wet day, so well happy... Not bad too as I only bought the bike last week, a MINT and I mean mint as new 600 hornet, with 1400 miles:smug: and not even riden it apart from today.
Huge grin on my face all night:D

Big thanks to Mickwrx for his tips for the day, really helped as I've not done any training at all so needed a few pointers... Cheers Mate, I had your voice in my head whilst riding around, scary stuff... :lol1:

In all cost me £90 CBT, £35 theroy, £60 test.

I know; the Atom was quicker but the bike still feels PDQ... quick enough put it that way...:D not had chance to really give it the beans yet though but plenty of torque...

We out for some steady trips out next year mate...:thumb:

congrats mate.

Now get yourself some advance rider training from either the police or a training company. The roads seem to be getting more dangerous by the day

Yep, will do, after doing my IAM test on the bike now, done the car IAM and ROSPA tests so finish it off with the bike one... just taking it easy as I'm not fussed about going quick now. I've been out in the wet a few times since i got it and for some very odd reason I found out i still enjoy riding in the wet... Used to love riding in the wet when i had bikes before... :cuckoo: potty i know...
