well I sold the 55 plate 999 on friday, bloke was well chuffed with it, bargain at 5500, he was into ducati's in a big way (owner club etc),

picked up a black 2007 cbr 600rr on sunday,

I rode 70 odd miles home in the sleet/snow/wind/rain and I was very glad to be on the cbr rather than the ducati,

even though I kept on trying to change up from top gear, I loved the ride and am well chuffed with the new bike,

its a lot easier for me to ride, it feels like a little 400, its very small and also very comfortable, and even in the bad weather I could tell it loved to go round the corners,

a new end can is in order, just to make a nicer sound, I'll wait till the show and hopefully find one there

glad you seen sense and got a honda lol only joking kidda
id like to have a go on a duke just to see what the fuss is about
if you could ride the ducati fairly good your going to love the honda as there
that easy to ride , the more you put into it the more you will smile .

enjoy it :luxhello:

I couldnt ride the duke very well. thats why I got rid of it :D,
it really was a bit too hardcore for little old me (5ft 7), when I was on it,It felt like i was in the middle of a press up,
but the cbr just feels like it was made for me :)

cheers

glad you made the right choice , alot of people get them with no clue about how to ride them , there are a few on this forum that are fairly seasoned with all types of bikes if you need any help you know where we are .
you wont go far wrong with the honda although you might have to rev the t£££ off it . lol

take your time build the confidence to a massive smile ,:norty:

just found a nice road legal leo vince sbk titanium slip on can,

would this work fine with the bike without doing anything else? I dont want it to ruin the bike in any way, if you know what I mean,
cheers

yea itll be fine m8 :thumb: . full system would be a diff story , but a slip on can very rarelly alters the fueling significantly enough to warrant wasteing money on a pwr commander and dyno time .
stick a k+n filter in just to help it breathe better , and its job done .
