I'm also a user of Photobox and their quality and speed is excellent. If you upload early enough in the day, prints usually come through next morning.
A friend of my missus has just placed an order with Aldi after I mentioned it to her. Half the price of Photobox for 6x4 prints, 9p a print less for 7x5. If no-one else has used them and replied to you before she gets them, I'll ask her about the quality.
Photobox uses Fujifilm Crystal Archive paper. Aldi site just says good quality photo paper.

I found Asda not too bad. Fuji Frontier machine and crystal archive paper. Took a few attempts to adjust to their levels, but you get 6x4's for 5p and 7x5's for 10p if you are doing a lot of prints.

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, but I've only just spoken to the wifes friend about the photos.
She says she was pleased with them and that they arrived in 2 days. She couldn't tell me what make the photo paper was though.
