Yes it been fitted to all my previous sccobs inc present one as part of the clifford alarm. Never had a moment problem either with the alarm or with blackjax. Well worth in my eyes - just for extra piece of mind. Know of people that have had problem with them ad most of those come down to poor installation.

I have it on mine (came with the alarm system) but (un)fortunately never needed it testing (yet).

it can be a pain in the arse if you forgot that you've turned it on.

blackjax is superb, ok its an inconvienence but its worth it
my old escort cossie had it, if you opened the door while running you had to enter the code, on first starting the same etc, so basicly if someone gets your keys they only get 500 yards down the road car dies the lights flash horns go off and the siren, all remote fobs are cut off till code entered, i tested mine a few times lol.

what it basicly means is you can hand over your car or keys etc call the police and know the cars coming back, unless of course they realise it has blackjax and beet 9 bells out of you for the code

i had it on my last car but it wasnt that that annoyed me it was the famous clifford chirp that just kept on chirping through the night even though nothing was around ,i got it turned down and still chirp chirp bloody chirp and when you went upto the car and looked in it or tried the door guess what nothing but silence :lol1:
i think toads are better and also cheaper

which is why on my car the light and button are hidden away so there is no evidence of it

good piece of kit, I dont enter the code, when I get in I press a combanation of alarm fob keys to take it in and out of valet mode - does the same as entering the code :thumb:

Surely that negates the anti-hijack feature? If someone pulls you out of your car and it's in valet mode, will Blackjax stop them further down the road? (Maybe I'm misinterpreting your message?)

Look here http://bbs.scoobynet.com/security-16/629839-rac-trackstar-blackjax.html#post7339962 for a discussion about an alternative.

Love my blackjax, would not be without it.

Not that much of a pain in the arse, just becomes routine. THen change the pin to an easier to enter one :)

I get in turn valet mode on, then off again.

The next time the door opens blackjax starts again.
