Although undoubtedly crap optics, and f/8-16 - it'd probably be pretty good for moon shots...

Ive seen similar with the Sigma Mirror Lenses

great for astro shots, but not much else unless it is static, I would imagine fairly long shutter speeds so would rule out anything alive or moving

Still they have their place I guess

So why didn't you buy it? Do they do one in black for proper cameras?

I thought White was for proper cameras ;)

Someone on POTN bought one of the 650 - 1300mm Opteka lenses, just for a laff.
