Hanslow 10 November 2007, 15:48 Tried any of your local glazing firms?
Diesel 10 November 2007, 17:30 I tried the chap who put windows in for me, but he wants £450 for a quality Rehau 'front door'. Selco do one for £160 and that's all I need - but it would bash the car!!! Trying to source online now as most places tried were closed and I need a trade place rather than domestic snakey salesmen types! Waste of a day :(

All Torque 10 November 2007, 18:01 Isn`t there any way you could use a inward opening one and reverse hang it so it opens outwards.
Hanslow 10 November 2007, 18:06 See if any of the links on this google search are of any help....
outward opening upvc door uk £ - Google Search (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=outward+opening+upvc+door+uk+%C2%A3&meta=)
Shark Man 10 November 2007, 23:44 Our patio is outward opening PVC: Reliant Windows did them (if your Midlands Based).
Although the hinges are external. Which I guess is the only way they can be made, so based on that why can't an internal one just be fitted backwards?
Diesel 11 November 2007, 00:09 Thanks guys.
If I reverse hang a door the ledge will be on thie inside?

msi 11 November 2007, 00:52 I have fitted the B+Q one (£140 ish) the "wrong" way around a few times and it's been fine.
Diesel 11 November 2007, 12:59 God their site is hard to search! Description doesnt mention if its pre hung, has handles, sometimes doesnt disclose the size!
I've seen this: B&Q Online: From Kitchens & Bathrooms to Sheds & Paving; plus planning tools (http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9274649&fh_start_index=36&fh_eds=%3f&fh_sort_order=-1&fh_sort_by=_price_rrp_min&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3 c%7b10076%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b10079%7d%2fcategori es%3c%7b8960108%7d%2fspecificationsProductType%3dE ntrance+Doors&fh_refview=lister&ts=1194782259354&isSearch=false) so I guess I can take a punt andf pop over. Thanks for the help.

ScoobyWeb 13 November 2007, 22:03 The only difference between an inward and outward opening upvc door is the drain holes. If you fit a inward opening door to open outwards any condensation or water ingress will drain out of the door and into your property. If its your garage then I don't suppose it will harm any as we are not talking a lot of water here.
Chris.
Diesel 13 November 2007, 23:46 Still Rocking H..., and no, I dont want water in the garage to moisten my tools :)

Top answer:thumb: I now work for a window / door man and asked him about this and as above he says the same. You can take the door panel out silicon the drainage slots and redrill new ones so it drains outwards. So just turn a normal door around :thumb:
Diesel 18 November 2007, 16:17 Sounds like a plan as still havent sourced one for sensible money. Send us a quote Daddyscoob! Std size. D
daddyscoob 19 November 2007, 22:58 wel we mainly service and repair but a guess would be around 4 - 5 hundred for a cheapy which would do a garage
