Have you tried an alcohol wipe?

You will need to reapply lsp afterwards though.

Try t-cut polish that will shift allsorts and make your car gleam afterwards.

Methanol is the best solvent to use as this will remove the marker pen without removing the paint. Something like acetone will lift the paint off, petrol won't work anywhere near as well as methanol does. Hope this helps you.

the best way i have found is g3 and its great for removing scratches i have just removed a key scratch down the whole side of the car hope this helps

Methylated sprit, then rewax or reseal, depending on what LSP you use. As said above, polishing isn't needed, as marker pen is a surface contaminant, not a sub-surface defect. Because it doesn't sit very proud, claying won't help much, so a solvent based approach is best. :)
