As you may be aware there are a certain number of people on here who have felt it necessary to register another ID in order to have an unjust infraction reversed.
This is against the stated policy of the site but at the same time totally understandable as once banned there is no way of registering a complaint.
Therefore I propose that infract-banned accounts be able to post in policy until such time their complaint is heard and dealt with.
Sounds fairer than the current situation surely?

You could always send an email complaint to scoobynet.

I think many users like 'swiss tony' for example obviously found this long winded and preferred to register another account.
Not only that it means that the complaint isn't out in the open which I think is to the benefit of the community.

Firstly, I don't know what stated policy you're talking about regarding duplicate accounts.
But..
Anyone who has been banned can PM webmaster, or send an email. Your post has prompted me that maybe I should update the appeal procedure to make this clear.
Thanks

Simon,
I don't want to sound argumentative, but unless a change has been made since last week when I was banned, then you cannot send Private Messages when your account is banned. When I went into my usercp the "Send New Message" option was not present in the Private Message list, and when I selected the List Messages option the messages were listed but the "Folder Controls" bar was completely red, indicating that the inbox/outbox was full and no messages could be received or sent.

I'll look into that. Thanks Markus.
