I have a MY99 GT it's a Swiss car but probably the same as a UK spec....
Unfortunately my wing mirrors are not heated.
Is this normal? Was it an option on this model?

I've a UK MY 200 5 door classic and the mirrors aren't heated.
Shame as it's a useful feature.

Isn't it a bugger!

I wonder if the wiring is there? Sometimes car companies supply cars fully loaded but just don't connect the wires if it isn't ticked on the options list.... the reasoning is that it's cheaper and more cost effective to just build all the cars wiring systems the same rather than try to build each car by the spec desired. Obviously they don't wont the world to know this;)

I know this sounds daft but it happened on my wife's Mitsubishi.... she chose not to have fog lights but when the car came it didn't have them but all the wiring for them was! We later paid 40 pounds for the lights instead of 350 pound on the option list ;)

I'm not sure heated mirrors was an option but in the car manual heated mirrors are in there.... and they are under the same fuse as rear dimist (which works)

Cheers,

Plums.

Same on my lad's Ibiza: no fogs. We bought the lights in a kit which included a new lighting switch, and full instructions, for £120, which was FAR less than the option:thumb:
