We have a double garage with 2 single doors. Each door opening has a lintel above. How much would it cost (roughly) to knock the divider out and put a longer lintel in for a larger garage door?

Any issues with it Alan? I assume it's just a case of propping and pulling out the bricks. Then a new garage door!

No issues, Prop up brickwork above , I put pins through the wall (steel) Pull doors frames and small lintols out, Fit new steel Wedge in place useing slate , Job done ready for your doorman.

What door to you buy, i assume 2x single plus bricks is wider than standard?

I only did the lintol work, >> There are lots of firms make doors to mesure , cost about 2k max for a real good roller type .
