Unlikely to happen. Barrachello is looking on dodgy ground at Honda (he may be moved to Super Aguri for next season is rumours are to be believed), so it's likely that Button will stay where he is. Best bets for the 2nd Mclaren seat are probably Nico Rosberg or (more likely) Heiki Kovleinen...

Good to see that he is off Hamilton's back in the team. I would not want to employ someone who is prepared to blackmail me to get his own way!

Where would they put him though? They already have cast iron contracts in place for the drivers of both teams (Red Bull and Torro Rosso) for next year. Most likely he's going back to Renault...

this is priceless as my wife is spanish and the tables in our season long argument just tipped my way once more!

I wouldn't rule it out, Schumacher has pretty strong ties with Mercedes ...break the bank & get Brawn into replace Coughlan & hey presto, you could run a Mclaren with as many Ferrari parts as you like ...would also stick one to both Ferrari & the FIA :D
