I run them and know of a few more that do, I've never heard of any issues at all regarding them.

The H+R springs do not lower the turbo impreza 50mm.... this is the quoted drop for the 'Impreza' i.e the NA version (which is approx 15mm higher than turbo). So you get a 35mm approx drop....

Good point Tony.... mine dropped around 25mm initially against standard uk turbo height, since settling it may be a couple of mm more.

wot size are the two bolts on the bottom of the strut 18 mm ?

mine are rusted up so put wd40 on them hopefully clean them up abit other wise looks easy enough to do, even though u always get problems with these things

H&R, Eibach and Whiteline springs are all cold coiled on Wafios spring coiling machines, using very similar chrome silicon spring steel. All these companies have slightly different spring designs but normally do not venture anywhere near the limit of the steel.

Certainly, a spring can break but this is rare on springs made by these manufacturers. Now, standard springs on Mondeos, C Classes and 3 series, that is another story..............
