Does that skin actually work? Its just that it looks too big compared to the standard skin. I use to have a baseball bat as a knife, but since this new checking stuff in 1.3, it doesn't work anymore

The grenade laucher has always worked on mine, but certain gun skins are too big, the cs engine checks for spiked weapons etc...

 

What is a spiked weapon?

 

A weapon that sticks out further that it should do. It allows you to see the enemy when the are round the corner and see which way they are looking etc....

I guess it works, I mean I have got a huge grenade launcher which works on the locked server.

The file names are the same and that checking software simply tries to execute a list of known cheats and if any are executed then you get booted.

Some of the weapon skins only work if I am carrying them though, for example I have a Glock skin. The weapon looks normal when others carry it and it is on the floor but I have the skinned version when I get one out. This is the same for the katana sword I have, when others get out their knife it is a knife. My colt carbine does however look the same for all people when carrying it and on the floor. This one is the same size and simply has a scar face style grenade launcher bolted to the bottom.

Last night was a hoot, had a blast on one of the maps, think it was Italy. I seem to be good when theres loads of people and pap when theres just a few.

I think I get scared and panic when I know theres just me left against a horde of bloodthirsty T's

Somebody mentioned John McClane skins in a post earlier in the week, wtf are they ? Die Hard skins ? Of what ? Just curious.
