I'm going to look at one of these in the morning, I'm looking at a deal with my truimph speed triple 1050, hopefully I'll be coming home on it :)

just wondering what people experiences are with one of these, its an updated model 2005, red frame different swingarm etc, and it got the termithingy exhaust and a single seat fitted, it does look nice in the pics,

anything in particular to look out for?
cheers

dont believe all the horror stories bout ducati, had a 916 for a few years ,track days, touring and silly bugger week ends, bike was totally reliable,
just stick to the correct service schedule and enjoy !

I was told a couple of years ago by another Ducati owner that Biposto meant '2 seats', so you could carry passengers. He seemed quite convincing, and he'd owned Dukes for many years. Yours doesn't even have rear foot-pegs. Was i being wound up??

Cracking bike though, looks the nuts.

Lee, good luck with your test mate,

Shaun, your mate was right, my bike has had a single seat fitted as an extra, I also have the standard seat unit & pegs etc

Makes you wonder why the person who converted it didn't just buy a monoposto in the first place.... :wonder:

Seems like a lot of trouble to go to.....

I got the reciept from when he bought it from the ducati dealer, he paid £450 for the seat.
,no trouble to go to at all, he just wanted it and wanted the different seat, it doesnt take long to swap them over for when he wanted to take his wife on the back, at the time there was no seat hump available to go on the pillion seat to give it the mono look

Cheers Spuddy,

allthough I might have to sell to make way for a new cbr 600, its a good looking bike but I think it might a bit too hard core for me, and a cbr 600 would be plenty fast enough and a bit easier to control,
