If your leathers are quite short get the highest boots with nice shin protection. If they are long you can go for a slightly shorter boot... At then end of the day they have to fit, get in a shop and stick some on your feet.. and stick to the big names you know what your buying that way. Mine are Oxtar TCS Evo RX they just fitted really well... but possibly old now :) Pudders69 09 October 2007, 12:38 crash 3 times in sidi vertabrae boots, still look almost new Edcase 09 October 2007, 13:16 Yup leathers have shin protection, fairly long, come down to my ankles. cheers ed Sbradley 09 October 2007, 13:27 Alpinestars S-MX or Sidi Verterbra. Crashed hard in the Sidis and not hurt my feet. Not crash tested the Alpinestars (touch wood) but know plenty of people who have (Nori Haga & Karl Muggeridge spring to mind) and they swear by them... SB Edcase 09 October 2007, 14:07 thanks all. How is the fit on the Alpinestars? The sidi's I tried recently came up quite big, giving me heel lift. sti_sambo 09 October 2007, 20:18 I've found alpinestars leather takes a while to break in but once it has they are really comfortable and super tough. Sidi's are good but I found the fit a bit sloppy on my skinny feet. Puma's look and feel awesome, I've just not been able to spare the cash for a pair (yet) :D Edcase 09 October 2007, 21:57 s-MX's look the ones for me, thanks! |
