just bought a mica black scoob (black with red metallic flake) need some help on getting it in good condition.
please dont shoot me down but ive just washed it today with a sponge
dried it off with a shammi leather then polished it by hand with simonz colour magic
looks ok but nothing like the black cars in the stickies
will get some pics up tomorrow for advice

I use a sponge, chamois and some Meguirs (sp) Quick detailler. Does the job for me, don't need to go overboard on the double buckets, lambswool mitts and all the other stuff unless you're looking to lose hours even days of your time.
That's the only reason i've stayed away from doing it properly :idea:

Maybe not but it seems that's just a slippery slope for me.
I keep looking at kits on the Polished Bliss website and have to stop myself 'cause I know once I start i'll end up an obsessive cleaner :)
p.s. Hudders - liking the spoilerless look. Very tidy :thumb:
