Guys,

Need a few suggestions.

OK, I had a complete bathroom refurb about a month ago now.

The shower I choose was this one
Exposed with adjustable height head - Aqualisa (http://www.aqualisa.co.uk/Our-products/Browse-showers-by-range/Quartz-Collection/Quartz-Digital/Exposed-with-adjustable-head/?area=241)

Basically what seems to have started over the past few days is a noticible drop in water flow, even if the boost is on?
Sometimes the shower sort of spits some out if that makes sense?

The shower pump has become quite noisey - cross between a gargling sound and faint grinding sound?
Pump returns to normal, and then shower flow pressure is restored to normal.

I actually had it installed on the 22/08, and it worked fine basically until Sunday which was when I first noticed it.

Any ideas?

Should I contact the plumber, the place I bought it from, or Aqualisa directly.

Thanks,

Shaun

I'd speak to the plumber, it may be something simple like a bit of clag in the pump, or the shower head, or it could be more serious, like he didn't fit a Surrey flange when he put the shower in and the pump sucking water out of the hot tank is causing cavitation.

Get it looked at sooner rather than later BEFORE it damages the pump.

Cheers.

Just talked to the plumber - he actually done the whole bathroom....but anyway.

I explained that I didn't know who to talk to etc, he said he'll certainly take a look at it and we can then see what to do next.

He said that it sounds like something has been sucked up off the bottom of the hot tank into the filters.
He went on to explain that there are 2 filters in the pump and that dirt can sometimes be sucked up.
He said if its that then its dead easy to get at the filters to clean them.

He's coming to look at it on Thursday as I cannot meet him tomorrow

Shaun
