Have had this recommended as a good idea for our old c/h system, which is working fine, inhibitors in the water etc. Would help to keep it clean inside, so to speak.

Wondered if any one had used the device ?

Cheers and thanks

I use the Magnaclean Professional when I powerflush a heating system and it is very scary at how much metallic crap it picks up, if you just want a small mag filter then get a Boiler Buddy.

Mog is the magnaclean much better than setinal products, not used magnaclean before.

In what way do you mean as Sentinel don't do a "mag filter".

The Pro Magnaclean uses a twin tube filter with 2 rare earth magnets which attract anything with an iron content, this is plumbed into the return hose on my Sentinel Jetflush and cuts the flushing time by half

The below picture is the magnets from the Magnaclean after a recent flush bearing in mind that they normally look like two stainless steel rods, forgive the sepia colour as I was messing about with the effects on the phone camera. The mag on the right picks up the crap first in line and the mag on the left any residue that gets missed.

Thanks all, it looks like a worthwhile investment to improve the system.
