Anyone know a where I can buy these from (M8 x 1.0mm pitch)? Been to the usual places & they all want to sell me a box full & I only need 1, its for a mitre saw.

Bloody hell, if it's only one you need, you would think they would just give you it. What has happened to a bit of generosity.

If it is a well known brand of saw, why not get in contact with the manufacturers - they may send you the bolt for free!!

The places Ive been to would have to order them in hence the bulk buy.

Its not a top name saw, just a screw fix cheapo but I dont fancy buying a new 1 for the sake of a 50p bolt.

Left threaded nuts are common as muck on the net but bolts seem hard to come by for some reason :wonder:

Is there no way of doctoring it for a new bolt i:e tapping in a slightly bigger right handed bolt.

I assume you've gone on Yell.com the UK's local search engine - search for UK businesses (http://www.yell.com), and looked up "Bolt and nut stockists"? Bapp for Bolts in Scunny are excellent, they haven't failed me yet.
