Oh. my. God.
You cannot wipe the grin off my face.
It is, quite possibly, the best couple of hundred pounds I have ever spent my life.
I am no stranger to modifying things (I think the exhaust has been the first thing to change almost every car I have ever owned) however, I think the single biggest grin factor has to be the Ducati.
It's not just the noise (although it is bloody fantastic, especially on overrun high in the rev range) it's the way it makes the bike feel now.
Before it always felt... strangled. It does feel slightly faster although that's probably just the noise, but everything feels much more 'free', and the bike feels like it really wants to pull now.
Also either my practice has been paying off, or it's something to do with the exhausts, but I suddenly seemed able to rev-match perfectly on 90% of downshifts, which is just a glorious feeling!!!
Next up, a set of these: california cycleworks ducati parts catalog // Fuel: Tanks, Pumps, FCR Carbs, Jet Kits, Air Filters (http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/shop/catalog/ducati/fuel.html#keihin)
Very happy bunny.
