View Full Version : How can I get the airbag stickers off my sun visors?

I hate the warning and other stickers Subaru plaster all over their cars. I've managed to remove nearly all of them from my MY07 WRX but I don't know how to get the airbag warning stickers (one on each sun visor) off.

The problem is they're big and very well stuck down and the plastic covering on the visor seems very soft and fragile. So I don't think that it is a matter of trying to peel 'm off from the corners and even if they started to come off I don't think that the amount of vigorous rubbing with a solvent would do the plastic covering miuch good at all.

I HATE these stickers - they make the inside of the car look like a taxicab. Unless anyone has found a method that works I may even resort to buying a new pair of visors from Subaru (assuming they are not supplied with the stickers already attached).

Has anyone succeeded in removing them?

just a thought. In Halfords they sell in a can adhesive remover, i used this to remove the sticky pads and glue with good results. If you can peel most of the sticker off  this stuff will do the rest. It does not mark either. £5 a tin i think
