It's probably just me but when I try and so a search I keep gettin a search using google. Have you change this recently as you used to be able to refine the search by username topic etc, for example you could search Oz alloys in wheels and tyres section? :wonder:

Due to the massive server load we were experiencing, we had to switch search off, and replace it with the google version.. but in order to support those who pay to support scoobynet, we have made it available to those.

The google search is actually very powerful though, and is of course available to everyone.

Alternatively, for 50p per year, you can sign up to Full Member, and get a whole hill of other benefits at the same time as support the site. :)

I have to say that IMHO without being able to sort search results with latest posts first, Google or not, it's nowhere near as good as it was.

But, a) we don't really have a choice currently, and b) if it's worth 50p a year, or less that 1/2 pence per post you've made on here, you have still have the search facility, and you'll be supporting scoobynet at the same time. :)

I agree with Speirsy....I used to find it useful to be able to search for threads to which I had contributed - a facility which we used to have but is there no longer.

what has happened to search all i get is

I get the same as bk - how can i fix this, the search is extremely important for me.
