Think as far as waxing your car, your pretty much on top of it, I find that washing regulally and waxing every other month is enough. Proper shine takes time and doesn't seem to happen if you wax the car 4 times in a day for some reason.

Get some wheel sealant, makes it easier to rinse away brake dust.
A foam lance for your hose/pressure washer to use before you wash it maybe?
How far do you want to go and how deep are your pockets :D

This is a very good point! No point us telling you what we do unless you give us an idea of what you want to achieve and want to spend?
To give you an idea, my kit cost me around the £1k mark. But then I am starting to make it pay for itself ;)
To answer someone point above about applying 4 layers of wax in one day and it not making much if any difference, spit shine you wax layers and then you'll notice a difference :thumb: also depends greatly on what waxes you're using?

Because wax coats need to cure fully before the next one goes on... otherwise the solvent carrier in the fresh coat removes the last coat if you get my drift. Allowing at least 24 hours between wax coats allows layering to take place, although this can be speeded up by spit shining (misting wax residue with water or QD before buffing) as Matt suggests. :)

Thats makes perfect sense :thumb:
I did polish my car three times in one day, AutoSmart New Image, Meguiars Quick Wax and then Meguiars Detailer and to be honest, it looked great but you couldn't really tell the difference after the New Image.
I'll going to give it another New Image coat and a Carnauba Gold before winter. I'll allow a day between coats ;)
Cheers for the advice :thumb:
