The SEMSEC meeting at Brands was practically deserted. Everyone was either at Lydden or at the Runlate World Series at Donington, or the Britcar 24hours at Silverstone

This was the last time they came round like this. On the next lap, the lead Ferrari was boxed in by a backmarker, pulled out, hit his team mate and went into the armco at the end of the pitlane, ripping it out and ending all racing for the afternoon. 3 races cancelled much to their annoyance.

This was the first race meeting where I actually had a plan of what I wanted. Coming back to a circuit gives you ideas.

I wanted to use qualifying to take pictures through the TV flap on Clarke Curve and also for the exit of McLaren. I wanted to use race 1 to catch the grid swarming down Paddock Hill Bend, and then I could cross over the bridge onto the infield of Druids.

Race 2 was going to be experiemental, trying different things to be different, but it was cancelled.
