I have tryed all the brand make wipes but all still leave marks and lines barry wemyss 08 September 2007, 23:15 i use autoglym windscreen polish i put it on whith dry clean cloth leave for half hour to dry completely and wipe of riggy10 09 September 2007, 09:52 i have tried all sorts of window cleaners in the past and find like you that none of them leave a crystal clean screen. I have found the best way is to mix vinegar and a small amount of washing up liquid in about quarter of a bucket of warm water, wash your screen and then use kitchen roll to wipe clean, leaving a smear free screen. Just remember, dont do this in baking hot weather as it will dry as soon as you put it on. andysubaru3089 09 September 2007, 19:38 Yeah but wen u wipe of with kitchen roll it leaves the fluff of the kitchen roll all over the screen,i just cant find a way of doin it,someone oot there must know lol barry wemyss 09 September 2007, 20:03 i use a microfiber cloth after to wipe excess dust etc off WRX_Dazza 11 September 2007, 16:48 use kitchen cloths or j-cloths, they work fine.... alcazar 12 September 2007, 10:30 I've been using an old tea towel to dry and polish mine. Seems to work well. Alcazar chris_c201 13 September 2007, 13:33 Vinegar / soap to wash, scrunched up newspaper to wipe it off for me!! Streak / debris free every time! postie90 22 September 2007, 13:03 i will have to try the vinegar thing cheers guys... bugeyeandy 22 September 2007, 13:13 Warm water and vinegar with a chamois leather. As above a rub over with newspaper gets all the streaks out. Jay m A 24 September 2007, 12:30 Mr Muscle glass cleaner and some kitchen roll, job done! PS, decent kitchen roll ;) |
