Whats the best way to swap the suspension on my sti6? Can anyone suggest the best way to remove each shocker and minimize the brake fluid lost? Any feedback gratefully received.

You can replace the front and rear struts without breaking the brake lines. The flexible/hard junction on the struts un-clips.

Graham.

Been and had a look the brake line feeds through the brackets both on the car and the strut looks like you have the split them to remove the strut. Any ideas.

On mine the strut bracket was 'open' as a 'U' and the union clipped into the open end...

I've seen struts that have a chunk cut out removed to allow the brake lines to come out, and then a clip has been used in place after refitting. This wasn't standard suspension though

I have seen someone cut the bracket with a hacksaw (carefully) and with a little twisting the brake line was free of the strut intact and untouched.
He bent the bracket open with a twist, and the brake line could be put back into place securly.

cheers 911 think that will work as the suspnsion going on can be modified off car with the brake line removed and the suspension already on is for the bin anyway.
