View Full Version : Lampard
michaelro 20 August 2007, 14:10 I know he's not everyone's cup of tea and he raises a lot of debate but has any one noticed just how foul mouthed this bloke is?
I know few footballers are polite, but everytime I see him he seems to be swearing obviously at someone.
After his goal yesterday I could see him say "Take that you f'ing c****" in the general direction of the fans.
How can someone this uncouth be considered as a role model for the youth of today :cuckoo:
pauld37 20 August 2007, 16:58 :Whatever_ Foul mouthed and fat? What a disgrace! :Whatever_

Nah, Bellers was our role model of choice, because he was the shy retiring type, who played gentlemanly games like golf in his spare time:D

Just watching the highlights now, he is celebrating in front of the Chelsea fans.
So not sure what you're getting at?

Its a celebration after scoring a goal, if Man USA ever score, you might see them do one to ;)

I only ask because I have never seen that one before usually his kisses his knuckles, after he's picked them up off of the floor ;)
Don't get all cutesy it doesn't suit you :p
Daveo 20 August 2007, 20:37 I found it particularly sad that Lampard managed to get his name on the score sheet after a very poor game. He was totally eclipsed in midfield, in fact I didn't even know he was playing until about 30 mins into the game.
He's been poor for a while and shouldn't be an auto choice for the England midfield.

:Whatever_ So bad he's only scored two goals in three games :Whatever_

I guess seeing as he scores so much he fancied a change :p

Daveo 20 August 2007, 21:12 Two goals in 3 games - and one a penalty?
Great return for 120k a week. Not. He's paid to be a force in midfield and sadly he goes missing more often than not.

Attacking midfielders are supposed to score, no midfielder scores more, so £120k is a bargain. :Whatever_ So penalties aren't goals now?
As for "going missing" there must be a reason he is picked for every Chelsea game, obviously there is something wrong with Mourinho's eye sight :Whatever_
Funkii Munkii 21 August 2007, 09:31 Attacking midfielders are supposed to score, no midfielder scores more,
*Cough* Ronaldo :thumb:
Daveo 21 August 2007, 17:26 Yes there is a reason he is picked for every game - he never seems to get injured!! One of those lucky players.
His scoring rate is good for a midfielder - but it isn't a coincidence that his pants form last season coincided with chelski losing the title - he simply doesn't cut the mustard as a dominating midfielder anymore.
Also - if Ballack had been anything other than woeful since his transfer, I think Lampard would have been warming the bench a little more too.

:wonder: He only gets picked because he never gets injured!? :lol1:

He scored more goals last season than in previous season's.
:Whatever_ Maybe they lost the title because Man USA played better football than Chelsea?

No, never would've happened!
